BSc (Hons) Health, Fitness, Strength and Conditioning - top up
- September 2022, Full Time
NB This Top-Up programme is only available to Internal progressors from the Foundation degree in Health, Fitness, Strength and Conditioning at Easton College.
This one-year Top-Up programme builds on our Foundation Degree. As the area of health and fitness for preventing and managing chronic diseases continues to expand, employment opportunities are also increasing.
The programme is designed to enhance student’s understanding of the industry through studying contemporary issues and analysing the market sector. The course allows students to further develop their skills through exposure to advanced training methods/techniques, whilst being encouraged to reflect on the coaching practice in a work-based setting. Students will be provided with the necessary skills to plan, design and conduct a course specific research project.
With excellent links with numerous fitness centres, sports clubs, governing bodies and organisations in the region, students have the invaluable opportunity to develop their coaching, leadership and vocational experience alongside their studies. Not only can this provide scope for students to apply for internships or additional qualifications, it further establishes the necessary skills required to secure employment upon completion of the course.
