Summary

This course has been designed by employers to deliver the most up-to-date and relevant skills. Combining theory with practical skills, you will explore health and wellbeing, horse behaviours and welfare, biology, grooming and more. You will also undertake real life work experience to provide you with an insight into the industry and a solid foundation to proceed in your equine career.

Entry Requirements

You will need to achieve four GCSE's at Grades 9-4 (A-C) including English, maths and science or a relevant Level 2 at Merit with English and maths at Grade 4/C or higher if you wish to undertake this course.

Progression

Successful completion of this course at Merit will allow you to progress on to the Extended Diploma, 1 year duration.
You may then wish to progress onto study at Higher Education, gain an apprenticeship or seek employment.
