Trio of awards for Easton Tennis Centre

Easton Tennis Centre has received recognition in three key areas of its work at the Norfolk LTA Awards, reflecting the Centre’s key contribution to tennis in the region.
Coaching excellence
Our Tennis Centre has 6 superb tennis coaches, working with all ages and abilities of players. At this year’s awards it was the turn of Steve Breese to take the limelight, as he was named Coach of the Year.
Steve’s passion for the sport and his engaging approach see him captivate young players and inspire them to keep coming back week after week.
His emphasis on participation and enjoyment, whilst helping players to improve all aspects of their game, has made Steve a very popular coach with our adult players too.
Outstanding competitions
We are proud that the Tennis Centre hosts the largest competition programme in the UK. Easton Tennis Centre has been instrumental in increasing the competition opportunities for County-level players through the introduction of Tier 2 competitions.
Our second award at the Norfolk LTA awards saw our Tier 2 Junior County Cup events last summer win a President’s Commendation.
Providing a top-quality facility for all
A huge amount of work goes into making the Tennis Centre what it is – from our court hire open to all to enjoy, to our coaching programmes for all ages, and competition programme which is renowned for the quality of experience for participants, officials and supporters.
This is all overseen and led by our Tennis Centre Manager, Viki Barton, who was awarded a President’s Commendation for Services to Norfolk tennis.
All three awards are richly deserved, and we are looking forward to hosting the award presentations on 24 February.
