What You Will Study
This course will provide you with the opportunity to develop basic hand skill and technical knowledge in a range of Construction trade areas. The course will include both practical and theory sessions and you will also cover personal development topics to develop employability skills to support preparation for further study, apprenticeship or sustainable employment.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal GCSE entry requirements, but you will be expected to attend a pre-enrolment taster day.
How You Will Be Assessed
All practical assessments will be taken in the workshops. Theory assessments will be taken under exam conditions.
Course Progression
This course can lead onto a trade specific Level 1 course in your chosen trade pathway or a Property Maintenance Operative apprenticeship.

If you are a UK or home fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course, tuition fees are free. If you are aged 19 and over please contact the Advice Shop. Students will need to provide their own overalls, protective footwear and stationary
