What are the courses about? 

You will develop your plant knowledge and floral design skills needed for your future career in floristry. 

Courses cover much more than flower arranging. Your florist training will provide you with an overview of the industry and essential management and customer service skills. 

What will I do as part of the courses? 

You will learn on our beautiful grounds, consisting of formal gardens and a dedicated cutting garden. 

You will explore the floristry industry, and learn important industry skills such as flower arranging, design, stock management, customer service and logistics. To gain further insight into the industry, you will gain experience of work as part of a work placement. 

Progression 

You can progress to higher level study, an apprenticeship or employment. 

Many of our students go on to run their own floristry businesses and there are also roles available in the industry as a florist, flower seller and wholesale assistant.
