Summary
This qualification offers an engaging programme to support learners who want to pursue a career in the horticulture sector. It is intended as a Tech Level qualification.
This course is one day a week at Easton College and will include some of the following content:
- Professional Working Responsibilities
- Work Experience in the Land-based Sectors
- Identification, Planting and Care of Plans
- Plant Propagation Activities
Entry Requirements
- Have a Level 2 qualification in Horticulture
- Age 19+ and do not already have a level 3 qualification
- Already have a Level 3 qualification or higher but earn below the low wage threshold based on the National Living Wage
- Already have a Level 3 qualification or higher but unemployed
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this course you will achieve Pearson BTEC L3 National Extended Certificate in Horticulture.
Assessment
Includes, internal and external assessment and synoptics.
