Watch professional tennis at Easton College Tennis Centre

25th October 2023 – Tags: Easton College Tennis Centre

Norfolk sports fans will have the chance to watch professional tennis players from the UK and Europe in action next month, with the return of the Progress Tour to Easton College Tennis Centre.

The competition, featuring twenty male and twenty female British and International ATP and WTA ranked professional players, takes place from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th November.

Among those competing for a share of the $50,000 prize purse will be Norfolk’s Richard Bloomfield and Katherine Barnes.

This is the second time the event has been hosted at Easton College Tennis Centre and it remains the biggest pro event, in terms of prize money, to have been held in the county.

Tournament Director Barry Fulcher comments:

We look forward to returning to Norwich, and one of the UK's finest indoor facilities, for our second $50,000 event of 2023. We had really positive feedback from the players on their last experience at Easton College Tennis Centre, so when the opportunity arose to run another dual gender event, it seemed a natural fit to head back to Norwich to do it all over again. The field is set to be just as strong with a host of up-and-coming British players and established professionals in action.”

Matthew Breese, Head of Commercial Operations at Easton College, adds:

We are proud to be involved in bringing professional tennis back to Norfolk and we’re looking forward to welcoming back players and spectators for an event of this stature. Whether you are part of the Norfolk tennis fraternity, or a casual fan, this a great opportunity to watch professional tennis close to home and very affordably, with a finals day family ticket costing just £12 for two adults and two children.”
