What You Will Study

This hands on practical course provides you with the strong foundation needed to progress to further study or employment. Combining practical and technical skills, you will cover the health and wellbeing of animals, crop and livestock production and the basics of estate management and tractor driving.

Entry Requirements

Achieve 3 GCSE'S at grade 2 or above, including English and Maths.

How You Will Be Assessed

Assessment is through a range of practical and written assessments. On top of this, you will also have to complete two externally set multiple choice exams.

Course Progression

This qualification will develop employability skills and provide contextualised knowledge of the agriculture industry to allow you to progress to further learning and training in a wide range of land based studies. The natural progression would be onto a Level 2 Diploma in Agriculture or an agricultural apprenticeship.
