Interviews and taster days

Interviews, which may include taster events for some of our courses, are an important part of the application process.

We hold our interviews at different points throughout the year, depending on when we received your application and the course(s) which you have applied for.

To book an interview please log into your Learner Hub account by visiting the My Application link at the top of this page. You will see the below screen where you are able to either:

  • Create an account.

or

  • Sign in - using the email and password you set up when applying.

You will then be able to access your application account and book an interview. Interview dates will show up if available, if you are unable to see any there may be more coming soon, so please check back frequently. If you are struggling to book a session you can contact our Admissions Team on 01603 773008 for help.

Most interviews are face to face and require you to attend in person, however some may be by telephone. Once booked you will receive an email confirming the details of your interview. It is really important that you carefully check your invitation email, so you know what type of appointment you have, as well as the date and time.

If you are unable to make your appointment, you can cancel or rearrange your interview via your Learner Hub account.

Interviews give you the opportunity to ask questions and discuss anything about the course you are unsure about. They also help you and our teaching staff to see whether your skills and interests make you suitable for your chosen course(s).

Please be aware, your interview may be arranged as a group interview together with other applicants, rather than as a one-to-one meeting.

Interviews are allocated for your 1st choice course preference in the first instance, to help us maximise interview slots. If you wish to interview for your other course choices, please contact Admissions on 01603 773008 or email admissions@easton.ac.uk.

Does my Parent/Guardian need to accompany me to my interview?

No, there is no requirement for parents/guardians to attend. However, if you require extra support at your interview, you are welcome to bring someone with you.

Will there be parking available when I attend my interview?

Parking is very limited on site, so we encourage the use of public transport or Park & Ride where possible. There are drop-off points available at each of our campuses.

How long will my interview last?

Your interview confirmation email will confirm the time and duration of your appointment. Please allow for the entire duration, however this may finish earlier due to number of attendees.

Is there a dress code for my interview?

There is not a dress code requirement. We do however encourage you to dress appropriately for your college interview, and suggest you wear something you are comfortable in.

What do I need to bring to my interview?

Please ensure you have completed any tasks sent prior to your appointment and bring along your completed reference form. If you have not received either of these before your interview date, please contact our Admissions Team on 01603 773008.

What will happen when I arrive on site?

If attending City College Norwich or Easton College, please sign in at the Main Reception. If attending Paston college please go to the room listed on your confirmation email, where you will be signed in. Campus maps are available on our websites under Our College > Our Campus > College Campus Map.
