About Us: Established in 2017, we are a progressive, high-welfare broiler chicken unit operating on a modern site with a capacity of 300,000 birds per flock. We pride ourselves on embracing innovation and continuous improvement. We have heavily invested in state-of-the-art agricultural technology, most notably incorporating advanced AI-powered camera systems to optimize bird management, health, and environmental control.
We are a close-knit, dedicated team of four, meaning you will receive hands-on, one-on-one mentorship from experienced professionals who are passionate about the poultry sector.
The Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, hardworking individual looking to kick-start a career in modern agriculture. As a Poultry Production Apprentice, you will learn all aspects of high-standard broiler rearing while earning a nationally recognized qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily walk-throughs and health monitoring of the flocks.
• Utilizing our cutting-edge AI camera systems and automated environmental controls to monitor bird welfare, temperature, and ventilation.
• Assisting with feeding, watering, and maintaining optimal biosecurity and hygiene standards across the houses.
• Recording production data, mortality rates, and feed/water consumption.
• General farm maintenance and machinery operations as part of a small, versatile team.
What We Are Looking For
• A keen interest in animal husbandry, farming, and modern agricultural technology.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and observation skills.
• A team player who is comfortable working around livestock and machinery.
• No prior experience in poultry farming is necessary—full training and structured apprenticeship support will be provided.
